NIVREL watches are always developed with an exceptional idea in mind. Therefore, our automatic alarm watch is not only expected to sound nicely, but also to meet its original purpose: it is supposed to really wake up its owner sharply on time. In order to reach this goal no standard gongs are used. The hammer of the alarm strikes directly against the case of the watch. The arising, distinctive sound will awake everybody! Due to the independant mechanical source, the alarm function is not compromised by a power blackout or electronical failure. NIVREL uses the calibre AS 5008. This movement was built only from 1970-1975 and is a true rarity today. In a NIVREL watch, the calibre receives a complex fine finishing. On request, the timepiece can be delivered in a limited, hand-engraved version as well. Besides the alarm function, the timepiece indicates hours, minutes, sweep seconds, week day, and date.
